Maddy Vian

Maddy is a freelance illustrator and art director. She grew up in a small town called Sandwich, Kent before studying at Kingston School of Art for her Illustration Animation degree in London. However, the beach called her back and she now lives back in the seaside town of Margate. Her favourite projects are the kind that are unashamedly full of joy and colour and she has worked in branding, animation and children's illustration. She loves using nostalgia and warmth in her work to connect to each person looking at it. In her spare time she enjoys boardgames, swimming and sitting in coffee shops, with a sketchbook, dreaming up new ideas.
